Application of Ecological Systems Theory to Antwone Fisher
Human development greatly depends on the various systems on which a human being is founded. The Ecological Systems Theory of Growth (EST) by Urie Bronfenbrenner explains the association between the environmental levels and how they are connected to one another to affect growth, behavior, and emotional functioning. This premise comes into play when one learns about the tale of Antwone Fisher, the protagonist in the 2002 film Antwone Fisher, who is emotionally unstable, angry, and mistrusted, this being a result of childhood trauma.
