Critical evaluation of patient presentations and differentiation between the conditions that appear similar but require dissimilar treatment: based on the discussion of clinical scenarios and course materials, I had an opportunity to develop my skills. Some of the most helpful aspects of the week were the emphasis on the ways of distinguishing between viral and bacterial cases and the necessity to diagnose or treat a case with a diagnostic procedure or a treatment. These concepts have sensitised me regarding the fact that it is so very easy to engage in unnecessary intervention procedures, such as the improper use of antibiotics, and it is administered without the necessary caution. Structured clinical frameworks and evidence-based guidelines can be used to enhance the accuracy of diagnosis and the responsible management of health facilities (Grech, 2021). The issue of age, environment, and past exposure showed the need to develop particular care plans. The discussions have enabled me to not only think outside the box of physical symptoms, but also pay attention to psychosocial factors, issues among caregivers, and patient education. These elements are the main ones to support compliance, anxiety, and outcomes.
